COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL PLANNING

It’s a fact that the majority of people have no idea where they are heading financially. They may have assets, investments, and/or high levels of income, but most people have no idea what it all means, or what sort of financial future they face.

Comprehensive financial planning seeks to redress this uncertainty by bringing clarity and making sense of money. Comprehensive financial planning is not about ISAs, pensions or mortgages, or for that matter money; it is about you and your goals.

It is also about discovering where you are now, what you value, and where you want to be tomorrow. It is about creating lifestyle goals and constructing a ‘roadmap’ that will help direct you towards fulfilling them.

County Financial helps to bring clients face to face with the reality of where they are now and what their future looks like. For some people this can be a joy, for others it can be a shock − but either way they’ll thank us for it! Why? Because now, more than ever before, people want to know the truth, so they can do something about it.

It’s called making sense of money.

Making sense of money is not whether “Standard Life is better than Scottish Widows” or, “this fund is better than that fund”. We believe that what clients want, more than anything, is a quality answer to the big questions.

Questions like…

  • “How much do I need to earn, save, or sell my business for, in order to give me what I want out of life?”
  • “When, precisely, can I afford to stop doing the things that have become a drag… and start doing the things I really enjoy?”
  • “What do I have to do to ensure I NEVER run out of money?”
  • “How do I ensure that my family is financially secure – whatever happens?”

Comprehensive financial planning brings real meaning to money and a purpose for earning it. Also it means that what you have already is put to work efficiently for the achievement of your goals.

Financial planning is not a one off process. It is a continuous process that adapts your plan to changing circumstances. Our hope is that when you reach your final days you can look back and say, “I’m glad I did” not, “I wish I had”.

But, enough of the theory…

…how do we put this into practice?

First we analyse with you exactly where you are now, how you got there, and more importantly, where you want to be in the next 5 years, 10 years, 20 years.

Then, when we know what you want to achieve, we identify all the resources available to you now, all the resources becoming available to you in the future and, most importantly, all the resources you might need to become available in order to reach your objectives.

When we have this information we put together a comprehensive plan to show you what your future looks like, and what action you might need to take to maintain your current lifestyle, or to achieve your goals or desired lifestyle.

Finally, when we’ve agreed on your financial plan, if any changes or financial products are needed, we will identify them from the whole market place and implement them to help you achieve your goals.

We look forward to working with you to help achieve your lifestyle goals and to make sense of your money.
