Why we recommend them

We are always looking for charities where we can easily identify and quantify what benefit is being provided by our money. This is eminently possible through the great work of this charity which provides sight to people around the world through medicines and simple operations. A cure for river blindness and renewed sight can come at a cost of as little as 50p and medicines to restore sight in many areas of the world literally only cost the loose change in our pockets. Relatively large numbers of people can therefore be helped by modest donations.
